When Rousey was 8, her father died by suicide. Her father’s death was the most formative event of her life, and she rarely talks about it. Rhonda found her outlet in organized fighting. She is currently the top female mixed martial artist (MMA) in the world, an Olympic bronze medalist in judo and an actress.
