Jahlil’s mother died when he was 9 years old. He still thinks about her nearly everyday. And her memory is a reminder of the importance of appreciating and enjoying life and those close to him. Basektball is an important outlet for Jahlil, and he was the #1 ranked high school player in the country. Jahlil went on to star at Duke University, and he was the top draft pick of the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers.
